Thanks for reporting the bug.

I don't think this has anything to do with rhythmbox. This is probably an issue with 'nouveau' driver while reading a video file, which you've accidentally added to rhythmbox.

That would be my guess.

Moving to xserver-xorg-video-nouveau package, as this has nothing to do with rhythmbox.
