Bug Description
I finally got my father to try out ubuntu on a brand new laptop he bought. There are two serious bugs. I'll also report the other in a seperate bug.
This is a Packard Bell ME35 laptop. The wireless card is a rtl8189 internal usb. Lspci won't show it but lsusb displays:
Bus 006 Device 003: ID 0bda:8189 Realtek Semiconductor Corp.
I really wan't this to work "out of the box". I've tried several things I found from google, a hacked 8187b driver ndiswrapper. Nothing worked properly.
