Bug Description
I contribute to an open source project built with the symfony PHP framework.
I'd like very much to use Launchpad to manage translations of our project, but we maintain translations in XLIFF format.
I wish Launchpad supported the XLIFF format, in addition to POT

We'd love a patch to support this - we have a pluggable framework for inputs and outputs, so it should be doable.
