Bug Description
To check whether there are any connected rack controllers the angular client currently checks if there is anything listed in general.
It would be nice if there was a more explicit way to check the connected status (or maybe there is and I haven't spotted it).

MAAS no longer uses Angular, UI logic is rewritten since this issue was submitted.
