Bug Description

Binary package hint: gimp

Tak an image resize it to 16x16 (recommended ico file size). Store it as .ico and store it 4bpp. The created file is corrupted.

Thanks, i cannot confirm this, that works fine here, probably it's only reproducible in powerpc.

when i follow the instructions on gutsy amd64 i get a file which i can open with EOG.

on hardy powerpc i get a file which EOG can't read. instead i get

** EOG:ERROR:(eog-image.c:1154):eog_image_real_load: assertion failed: (priv->image != NULL)
Aborted (core dumped)

it does not trigger apport :-(

just tested with gimp 2.6 in intrepid. seems fixed to me.
