this error came with release upgrade from ubuntu 18.04 to 20.04, the release upgrade crashed the mysql server 5.7 and the new 8.0.21 stopped with Errors. I was able to install mysql 8.0.21 with (sudo apt install mysql-server ubuntu-desktop-minimal) and it worked and I installed owncloud new and it worked. After a week the update to 8.0.22 came and mysql-server crashed and installation was not possible anymore what ever I try to clean ols dependencies. All my services are down now and I'm not able to clean the server from the old dependencies of mysql. The release upgrade crashed the system except smb service and apache2. Im not able to install It is so much work to start from scratch!
