Bluetooth headsets (mostly Sony) are not working HSP/HFP mode

Sony WH-1000XM2 and Taotronics SoundLiberty 53 are both not working in headset mode, but do in A2DP mode.

1. Open a Terminal window and run:

   journalctl -f

2. Now switch to A2DP mode and then HSP/HFP again.

Do you see the same kind of message as in bug 1576559?
