I don't get the same error message when attempting to install libpython3.8-dev and it looks like there's a mismatch in the version numbers for some of the packages. Could you please attach the output from `apt policy libpython3.8-dev libpython3. 8-minimal` , this will tell us which versions are available. I also don't see "3.8.6-1+bionic1" in the list of versions on https:/ /launchpad. net/ubuntu/ +source/ python3. 8
