Bug Description
While manually adding a machine to a model, there is no way for juju to know to which AZ the new machine belongs, so the AZ column will remain blank.
I think it would however be of great help to be able to manually assign AZs to machines whenever juju cannot do so automatically.
Consider for example a cloud provider announcing maintenance affecting a specific AZ. If I want to know which of my (manually added) units will go down and prepare accordingly, I have to retain a mapping of AZ -> unit outside of juju; on the other hand, if I could tag my machines manually juju would remain my single source of truth.
