Bug Description

As it is, there's no real link between Sound-Juicer and the disc to be ripped.
To fit the spatial thing better, it would need various changes, such as starting
it on disc insertion with the right drive selected, and adding a "rip" option to
the Audio CD desktop entries.

Thanks for your bugs, you seem to describe different issue on the same bug.

What is the issue with the disk selection? What drives do you use? Where is the
CD? Which one is used? What drive to you want to pick if there 2 CDs to read?

Looking at it again, I guess I was reporting more of an issue than a specific
bug. The point I was trying to make is simply what I wrote in the first
sentence; to fix it however means a couple of changes in different places, both
to sound-juicer (allow specifying a drive on the command line maybe,) and
nautilus (possibly adding a rip option to the desktop icon.)

Thanks but what you call "spatial" is not clear. For nautilus that's storing the
windows configuration/position/..., sound-juicer has only one window and no
different mode.
Can you open specific bugs for every point you want to get changed on the right
component? By example you want a command line option for sound-juicer, what
would be the usecase, what issue does it fix, ...?

I'm closing this bug as NOTABUG since that's not real bug pointed. Feel free to
reopen if you disagree

Ok, bad wording I guess. What I mean is that there is no sense of direct
manipulation of the CD object, which I consider to be strongly related to the
spatial principle of nautilus, but that might just be me.

How about if I change the bug to simply, "Add "Rip Disc" option to Audio CD
desktop entry," and leave any other changes that will be needed as up to the
implementor?
