Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The relevant dpkg terminal log says:

Segmentation fault
E: /usr/share/initramfs-tools/hooks/udev failed with return 139.

So some program crashed while executing the udev hooks. Can you reproduce it by running following command?

sudo update-initramfs -u
