Side panels don't keep their size on relaunch unless undocked first

Bug Description
When adjusting the size of the side panels, upon relaunching the app they will be reverted to default. Workaround is to undock each panel and then adjust as desired but it's not ideal.
To reproduce:
- Adjust any side panel
- Close and reopen the app
- The docks will be reverted back to the default
Desired operation:
The adjusted dock should stay adjusted when the app is restarted.
