Bug Description
Binary package hint: nautilus
I have recently upgraded to Ubuntu 7.10 - Gutsy Gibbon mainly successfully.
I have suddenly started seeing the following problem:
1. Launch Nautilus via Places>Home Folder
2. As expected I see the top level of the file system.
3. Double click Home Folder - it expands showing my list of directories.
4. Double click any directory - it expands but won't show any files at all.
5. On the status bar at the bottom of the window it correctly reports the number of files in the directory.
The Nautilus version is 2.20.0
I have checked that the files are listed in Terminal and I can get to them via applications. Rebooting failed to cure the problem.
