Bug Description

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

I lost track of the time it happened, but within the last couple of weeks. Rhythmbox doesn't react to my laptop hotkeys, wether it has the focus or not.

I looked into the keyboard shortcut properties and tried to reassign multimedia shortcuts. I noticed that the assigned values went from hexadecimal values like "0xab" to names like "XF86AudioPause".

This is rhythmbox 0.11.4-0ubuntu3. I don't have xserver-xorg-input-evdev installed.

Note that the hotkeys for sound and eject still work.

I rebooted this morning and noticed this too. I'm not even using fancy media keys for everything - play/pause is mapped to Scroll Lock, and that doesn't work either
