Bug Description

Within the past two weeks I've been suffering from a bunch more crashes of my wifi on my XPS 13 9380. The wifi will stay up for awhile after reboot, but will eventually throw the error below and require a reboot.

Please try https://launchpad.net/~vicamo/+archive/ubuntu/ppa-1891405, which updates board-2.bin to the latest one from https://github.com/kvalo/ath10k-firmware/commit/c06b46a7217d154efb6988142faf47a20b6ed41e . It's scheduled for build, and may complete in an hour or so.

You may want to download the blob instead and replace the existing `/lib/firmware/ath10k/QCA6174/hw3.0/board-2.bin`. Remember to make a backup though.

Please comment if either case works for you.

So far, the updated firmware has worked flawlessly; no dropouts whatsoever. I will keep my eyes out for any changes.

It has been a week since I installed the new firmware from the PPA, and there have been no dropouts whatsoever. Thanks again for the assistance!

Unfortunately, after about a week the wireless crashes started again. I reinstalled, and they are not present on the live image as far as I can tell, though I only used it briefly. Installing the updated firmware from the PPA this time did not resolve the problem. I tried the most up-to-date version of Fedora 32, and so far I do not have this crashing problem.
