Hide dock automaticly generate desktop icons disappear

When I go to Settings > Appearance > Hide Dock automaticly (I am using Ubuntu in spanish language I don't know the exactly words of menu in english, sorry).

When you change this option, the user folder icon on the desktop disappear.
