Trackpad scrollbar not working in Hardy Alpha 4

Bug Description

My HP nx7400 laptop has a trackpad with special scroll area on it' s left. In Hardy this scroll area does not work as expected (does not scroll) but instead behaves like a general touchpad.

I am using a freshly installed Hardy Alpha 4 with all updates applied as of 04 febr. 2008
