Bug Description

Hello,

I have a Ubuntu 16.04.6 LTS (Xenial Xerus) used by many X11 remote user.

When upgrading to glib-networking, glib-networking-common and lib-networking-services to 2.48.2-1~ubuntu16.04.2; all sessions crash randomly at the same time many times a day.

When it happens, all users are disconnected and it looks like lightdm is restarted.

Downgrading to 2.48.2-1~ubuntu16.04.1 resolve the problem.

X11 terminals were not upgraded.

Thank you for your bug report. The journal extract doesn't have much clue about the issue. Do you get any report generated in /var/crash at the time of the issue?

There is nothing in /var/crash at the date of the crash nor about lightdm. I don't know if this directory is periodically purged, but as I remember, no file was produced.

I will not be able to reproduce the problem before end of august as all users are in summer holidays.

How are your users connecting to the X server? From the description you mention lightdm - can you explain the setup and I will see if I can reproduce it?
