Bug Description

Sound is notably crackling (for example in Neverputt) with libsdl1.2debian-pulseaudio. What's interesting, libsdl1.2debian-esd works more or less fine.
libsdl1.2debian-pulseaudio used: 1.2.13-1ubuntu1 (Hardy up to date)

I get the same, and using -esd instead does indeed fix it.

Now I think it is the problem in pulseaudio itself, not the libsdl1.2debian-pulseaudio implementation.
