Internal display keeps being primary even the settings set external display as primary

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open display settings
2. Sets the external display as primary
3. Pres apply

Expected result:
The external display should show the application bar and the launcher

What happened instead:
The above are still in the internal display

The problem appears to be in the dash/dock extension you are using which doesn't seem to be the regular Ubuntu one. So this bug is invalid for mutter.

If you can tell us what the name of the extension is then we might be able to tell you where to look for help.

Hi, even with the extension disabled, launcher still appears on the wrong screen. Also, this is somewhat random, it was working for several days and after reconnecting / disconnecting monitor, this issue is back. I am attaching a photo. Thanks!

Hm, settings in the https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/1160/dash-to-panel/ also affects the launcher. I will investigate more.
