Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

Hello snapd folks, this package logged over a thousand DENIED messages in about ten minutes. This can't be good for system responsiveness, battery life, drive health, filesystem free space, etc.

Thanks

That's a good point but:

1. That's possibly not the problem the user wants to report here; and

2. I see thousands of DENIED messages in many bugs each week. It's not a new problem.

bergeronrog (belphegor78),

What is the main problem you are experiencing? Can you explain it in more detail?

I'm not sure what the original problem is with this bug, but regarding the denial messages, that seems specific to the rocketchat-server snap. Those denial messages could be silenced if the rocketchat-server snap used (or had connected it the interface is disconnected) network-observe.

I do not see that the snap currently uses network-observe, so perhaps the upstream of this snap should be contacted about that @ https://open.rocket.chat/channel/ubuntu-snap (from the snap info contact info)
