Pymol and VMD crash system (system reboot after crash automatically) no 3D effects.

if video output is set to X window System (no XV) 3D effects works, Pymol works if 3d effects are enabled. VMD crash (system close session and start a new session automatically).

For Hardy, this is due to the lack of redirected-direct-rendering, which is bug #147359. Marking as a duplicate, since the Gutsy bug seems unlikely to be fixed with a Stable Release Update. You could file the Gutsy bug again, particularly if you can attach a crash log from /var/crash, but Hardy is where the majority of the development effort is going.
