Bug Description

https://patchwork<email address hidden>/ needs to be backported into the Ubuntu 5.4 kernel train in order for amdgpudrmfb to successfully initialize. Otherwise, the last line seen on framebuffer is `fb0: switching to amdgpudrmfb from EFI VGA` and then the boot freezes.

I have tested this as a patchest against the 5.7 kernel series, and will also patch & build against the Ubuntu 5.4 kernel series.

This also would be fixed by rebasing on 5.4.52 from upstream.

And can confirm `linux-image-5.4.0-43-generic` works fine. Thanks for the SRU kernel, Ubuntu team!
