I was installing Ubuntu from usb stick and it crashed

Thank you for your bug report, from the log

 CasperMD5CheckResult: fail

which means the image registered has been verified as corrupted, which could be an error in the download or on the usb stick or in the recording process, you should try to download and write it again, maybe on a different device
