Bug Description
Binary package hint: tomboy
I am accustomed to using the following shortcuts which are standard in many applications:
ctrl-insert(copy)
shift-insert(paste)
shift-delete(cut)
And tomboy *does* seem to support the first two: copy and paste.
But for some reason, in Tomboyt, shift-delete *does not* put the deleted text onto the clipboard.(does not perform a "cut")
Can this please be added, I find myself frequently frustrated by this inconsistency.
I realize there are other shortcuts (ctrl-c, ctrl-v, ctrl-x), but these(shift-delete, etc.) shortcuts are particularly convenient when selecting text via keyboard: the left hand is already holding the shift key, and the right hand is using either the arrow keys or home/end, all of which are just next to the delete and insert keys used for these shortcuts.
Just confirming this problem - I also prefer to use these shortcuts as my left hand is usually on the mouse, therefore these are much more convenient.
