jnlp launched application hangs

applications launched with icedtea hang when transitioning from the initial (login)
screen to the playing screen. Other platforms using the same JWS code do not have
this misbehavior.

at the initial (login) screen, check the "login as guest" box and hit "login". Nothing will
happen. Now hit the "x" box to close the window, and the app will launch normally.

Also, if you want to see the intended behavior independent of icedtea, download
http://boardspace.net/java/jws/boardspace.jar , mark it executable and execute,
or run java -jar boardspace.jar in a shell.
