Bug Description
Ever time I open Xpad it asks for a password
when none were assigned. It also does not allow me to move the note
around on the screen--m

A password? That is interesting. :)
Xpad shouldn't do anything with passwords.
I guess it is something from the Linux distribution, or a faulty install, or something related to the environment.
Can you share a screenshot?
