gnome-power-manager not calling gnome-session --kill on power button

In hardy, I have gnome-power-manager configured to ask logout action through the control panel, nevertheless every time I push the power button in my computer happens nothing.

It was working some updates ago.

It has the same erratic behaviour, some times it works some times it doesn't work.
