Bug Description

First time installing and starting it with Ubuntu 18.04 and Cinnamon WM, the following message appears but there is no crash or any actual program malfunction. Only the error message which might be an indication of something

(diodon:9200): Gdk-CRITICAL **: 08:51:49.628: gdk_window_thaw_toplevel_updates: assertion 'window->update_and_descendants_freeze_count > 0' failed

Thanks for reporting.

I could not reproduce this error message. When doing some research though it seems that this error can occur when status icon is set.

This is not done by Diodon itself but through the libappindicator library it uses.

In the last version 1.10.0 we swapped this dependency with the maintained Ayantana AppIndicator which might have solved this issue.

Can confirm that this message disappeared with 1.10.0? Or is it still present?
