Hi,

This should be fixed in 6.03 and clamtk-gnome 0.05.

@ Dave M:
Ubuntu 20.04 has in his repository clamtk-gnome version 6.02-1.
If I download clamtk-gnome .deb version 0.05 from https://gitlab.com/dave_m/clamtk/-/wikis/Downloads and install this .deb I get of course the warning that a newer version is available in the package source. If I deny this warning and install clamtk-gnome version 0.05 this plugin works good.
But when I do an update I get problems.
Could you change the clamtk-gnome version to an higher version then 6.02-1??

Hi,

The clamtk and clamtk-gnome packages are different. clamtk (6.03) is the scanner gui, while the clamtk-gnome (0.05) adds the context menu/right click functionality. It could be that 6.02 is the latest in the repository, so it doesn't recognize 6.03. I think the better way to go is to have whoever's maintaining it in the repos to update to 6.03.

Indeed there is now in the repository from Ubuntu clamtk 6.03-1 and clamtk-gnome 6.02-1.
It seems logical what you said: clamtk-gnome 6.02 is the latest in the repository, so it doesn't recognize clamtk 6.03.
The maintainers should create clamtk-gnome 6.03 witch contains the original version from you: 0.05.
I will try to contact through email the original maintainers of clamtk-gnome Ubuntu.

@wowo,

Just to clarify though - clamtk-gnome is version 0.05.

Also, clamtk 6.05 was released recently as well.

Please let me know if there are any further questions.

Thanks,
Dave M
