Bug Description

I'm using Ubuntu 20.04. Diodon is no longer installed, and even though I removed the startup entry it keeps coming back at every login.

This sounds a bit odd.

I assume you have installed Diodon through the Ubuntu repository.
If so could you run the following command to make sure that Diodon is actually uninstalled:

  sudo apt purge diodon diodon-dev gir1.2-diodon-1.0 libdiodon0

Hi, sorry for the late answer, but yes, a purge solved the problem. But
still, I wonder why just a remove did not solve it? I never use apt
purge, so I expected a remove would work. Thank you for the tip!

Actually this was a packaging issue as with the introduction of meson the autostart got accidentally renamed and the debian packaging did not reflect this.

This got resolved in 1.11.1 so no purge should be needed anymore.
