Bug Description
First of all, in order to get the installer to work, I had to comment out the GFXBOOT line in /isolinux/
I recognize this is a bug in VirtualIron, not Ubuntu, but you might find it sufficient for the purposes of JeOS to exclude the GFXBOOT (it still has a logo, which confuses me...)
Anyway, the real bug/feature request is the lack of the realtek 8139 driver. This is what VirtualIron uses for its virtual NICs, and it would be great if it could be included in JeOS by default.
Thanks, I think this is an excellent project.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to report this problem and help us make Ubuntu better. /launchpad. net/ubuntu- jeos. I will allow you to specify which kernel you want to include in your newle custom built vm.
Unfortunately, VirtualIron is ot part of the targeted virtual environement for JeOS and the whole point of JeOS is to include as few drivers as possible to keep the kernel as lean as possible. I would suggest you to use our standard Ubuntu Server Edition if you would like to have all standard drivers enabled.
You can also try to use the ubuntu-vm-builder script that we are currently developping for hardy that you will find at https:/
