i donnot think this is a duplicated bug of #187604, i did not do any add/remove account operation.

as a workaround, i start the pidgin using strace, it won't quit like that.

well, the add account operartion is not the thing that triggers the crash, so I do think this is the same bug.

It works here after starting it in gdb and pressing c after every SIGTRAP. Weird Problem

Program received signal SIGTRAP, Trace/breakpoint trap.
0x00007f289fc4df97 in g_logv () from /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0
(gdb) c
Continuing.

(re)moving ~/.purple and ~/.pidgin worked for me
