Bug Description
After upgrading my installation to 20.04, I decided to remove all repositories and keep the Ubuntu repositories in sources.list as they were not supported to file this report. I ran "sudo apt update" and removed all packages from all repositories that are not Ubuntu.
When I inspected what mono-* packages were installed, I saw that one of them, which is mono-xbuild, is installed. However, when I ran "xbuild", I saw this following line:
>>>> xbuild tool is deprecated and will be removed in future updates, use msbuild instead <<<<
So I went ahead and ran "apt list msbuild" and saw nothing, which is weird considering that xbuild is deprecated and that it recommends to use msbuild, which is not available yet. Even worse, the project that I was building requires at least msbuild 15.0. This is what "xbuild /version" returned:
XBuild Engine Version 14.0
Mono, Version 6.8.0.105
