getting white and purple blocks on top of some texts

Bug Description

Everytime I start Ubuntu, I get gren blocks all of the home screen, which is solved by changing the wallpaper. But I also get white & purple blocks over texts like my wifi name, "Night Light On" and Time on the top bar (see attached photo). This is not solved.
