Bug Description

Since installing on 19.10 (and has continued after updating to 20.04):
Any newly installed applets (via Budgie Applets) do not appear in Budgie Desktop Settings until the system is restarted. After restart, some still have not appeared, such as WallStreet.

TLDR: Logging out and logging in does not make new applets appear. A full restart is required for some, and others don't appear.

Budgie desktop version: 10.5.1
Ubuntu versions: 19.10, 20.04

Correct - budgie-desktop does not support dynamic applet recognition - hence why there is text in bold at the top of budgie-applets that you have to logout / login (or restart the budgie-panel).

This is something that requires a fix of some-sort to be sent to upstream https://github.com/solus-project/budgie-desktop

Changed in ubuntubudgie:
status: New → Invalid
