Bug Description
I have two identical monitors that appear with the same name in settings: Dell Inc. 25"
In the appearance settings I have three options for "Show on":
- All displays
- Dell Inc. 25"
- Dell Inc. 25"
If I want to restrict the dock to one monitor only by switch from "All displays" to either one of the two "Dell Inc. 25"", nothing changes; the dock is still shown on both monitors.
Gnome-shell itself has no problems differentiating both monitors and displays its top-panel only on the primary one.
