Bug Description

I use the same conky file for all Ubuntu 20.04 versions, only here the display is black instead of partly transparent. Even the original Deepin 15.1 does display it correctly partly transparent.

-- ------------------------- Windows Settings
 own_window = true,
 own_window_transparent = no,
    own_window_argb_visual = true,
    own_window_argb_value = 120,
    own_window_colour = 'black',
 own_window_type = 'normal',
 own_window_hints = 'undecorated,sticky,below,skip_taskbar,skip_pager',

 double_buffer = true,
 --background = true,

If starting the text editor from the file manager, there is a large ugly black border added to the window.
See screenshot.

Just installed UbuntuDDE, and done all updates.
Happens around "various" windows, generally when they are unselected. Selecting gets rid of the band.
And, yes, seems to be fixed by disabling Window Effects.
Is a PITA....
Running standard Dell PC, Intel graphics.

In addition to last post.
I changed the primary graphics from the intell 9770 chip set internal graphics to a
Asus Geforce GTX 1660 super and still have the issue.
It appears to have taken longer to happen though - when the screens went into power save mode automatically - the borders appeared on reactivation
