Bug Description

In Ubuntu 20.04 Wayland, the icons in the application launcher are really tiny when 'flying' in, and disappear when they are in position. When a second monitor is connected in Wayland. If the 2nd monitor is disconnected, everything is as it should be.

Hi,

I have the same problem. Both on Wayland an x11.

The search results in the acvivity view aren't visible neither the preview of the open windows on the primary screen.

BUT this happens only when I have placed the 2nd monitor above the primary one.

I tried to reproduce it with gnome 3.36 on fedora 32, but there wasn't this problem (different machine).

To reproduce:
1. Attach second monitor
2. place it above the primary monitor
3. open search (super-key), app overview or activity screen

See the attached screenshots.
