Bug Description

I often keep my laptop for some hours without using it, with the charging cable plugged. Sometimes when I want to use it again, the screen stays off, and cannot say if it's still suspended or just the screen doesn't turn on. One thing that I find suspicious is that checking the logs I have some only until some time after I last used it (few hours later) and then none util the next boot. To reboot the laptop I kept the power button down for about 10 seconds to turn it on, and then I could turn it on again.

I'm using a Dell Precision 7510 and am experiencing the same behavior.

That is to say screen stays black and machine is unresponsive when resuming from suspend, note that this does not happen every time when resuming from suspend.
