Bug Description
Ubuntu Version: Ubuntu Focal Fossa
Package version: 1:3.36.1-1ubuntu4
Expected: Using Screen sharing as expected and often used before
Result: Screen sharing is disabled and can't be reenabled
I have checked the system logs and found this entry:
gnome-control-
Then I have tried to reinstall the vino package in case that something broke in the update yesterday. This did not help so I tried executing the binary manually and this worked:
/usr/lib/
09/04/2020 10:16:55 Autoprobing TCP port in (all) network interface
09/04/2020 10:16:55 Listening IPv6://[::]:5900
09/04/2020 10:16:55 Listening IPv4://0.0.0.0:5900
09/04/2020 10:16:55 Autoprobing selected port 5900
09/04/2020 10:16:55 Advertising security type: 'TLS' (18)
... (shortened)
The problem might be something related to DBus but I'm not shure.
