File selection status message overlays bottom icons making them unreadable

Bug Description
Selecting one or more files in nautilus shows a message at the bottom right (i.e. 6 folders selected (containing a total of...). This message overlays the name of the file or folder items at the bottom of the window making it impossible to see the names. See attachment to see what I mean.

Nevermind. I figured out that if I hover over the message text it is hidden so I can see the file names.
