Phatch GUI does not start on Bionic

Since upgrading to Xubuntu Bionic Phatch GUI (tragically) no longer runs.

(The CLI version still works)

phatch -v

I can see Debian has:

phatch_0.2.7.1-5_all.deb
phatch-cli_0.2.7.1-5_all.deb

However the GUI doesn't work with these either.

A shame as Phatch is one of the neatest apps around.

I am no python wrangler so don't even know where to start on debugging this.
