Extreme decreasing in node space is broken

Bug Description
Make a place and a transition. Press shift+U until they are directly on top of each other (may take 20 clicks or more). Now press ctrl + U a bunch of times. No matter how many times you press it they will be on top of each other.
I suspect that extreme decrease in node space rounds the space to zero. Maybe increase node space should add a little space if the distance is zero.
