Hello!

In addition to the system immediately mentioning an error on the start screen, I notice that for some time, at Ubuntu startup, the system takes exactly 1 minute and 30 seconds, making an unnecessary check in the boot step. I think this is related to the fact that I tried to create a Swap partition that Ubuntu never recognized. Alternatively, I installed Linux Mint to obtain the desired Swap partition. The problem is that Ubuntu is not taking advantage of the Swap partition I created by installing Linux Mint. Therefore, I am using my SSD in Dual Boot, with Linux Mint for daily use, since it is the only system that has been recognizing my much needed Swap partition with a reserve for 10GB.
Currently, I have been using Ubuntu only to store files that do not fit on the partition I intended for the new Linux Mint system.
From time to time, I try to login via Ubuntu (to make system updates), but as I said, I have to wait 1 MINUTE AND 30 SECONDS longer than I should for any system problem.
I really like my Ubuntu 16.04 and I don't intend to uninstall it in any way. But waiting exactly 1 minute and 30 seconds is more boring than reading this giant, repetitive text I'm writing.

Hopefully someday we will have an Ubuntu as efficient as version 14.04. In version 14.04 it was even possible to create a bootable thumb drive with a "persistence" area for 4GB. I really miss this feature and the old efficiency, although over time, Ubuntu 16.04 turned out to be an EXCELLENT operating system. However, I have better memories of the phase when I used version 14.04 and the even older version 10.04. With version 10.04 I found my comfort with Ubuntu Mate, which I keep on another computer. Well, Ubuntu Mate could come with a 10-year development time by default, instead of the short 3-year cycle, just like CentOS. I say this because, unlike most users of Linux distributions, I like to keep the same system, without having to carry out periodic re-installations. I found my happiness in the "Debian World", and when I install a distro like LM, Ubuntu Mate, or Ubuntu Unity, I want to use it permanently for as long as possible, as if it were a "Rolling Release", only with the stability of a Distro produced to be used for a certain time.
