RC2 & RC3 do not install on USB stick

Bug Description

Trying to install on a 4Gb USB memory stick on a HP Proliant ML110 installer sees the USB key as c0t0d0 but fails to install saying that it cannot access c0t0d0 and that it does not find /dev/dsk/c0t0d0s0 (the usb stick is not write protected).

From command line I can access the usb stick with:

- format -e
- fdisk /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0p0

I think that it could be the missing p0 which causes troubles.

On the same hardware I've installed OpenSolaris nv77 without problems (on the USB stick, of course), so it could be an installer problem.

Thanks.

This happened to me as well. I can install to a usb stick, but the installer won't do a mirrored root installation. it worked fine in version 1.01.
