App icons shrink or disappear after closing an app folder

When using a smaller screen resolution like 1366x768, opening and closing a folder inside the applications menu breaks the scaling of the icons.
Icons either become very small or disappear.

The bug did not occur when using a 1920x1080 display.

This issue seems to happen only when the Ubuntu Dock is present, even with the latest version.
Disabling it still causes a scaling bug however not to the extent of this one.

Yeah I was thinking this bug looked similar to some of the side-effects in another bug that was fixed last night in ubuntu-dock.

Please update your system:

  sudo apt update
  sudo apt full-upgrade

and then tell us if the problem persists.

Confirmed I'm no longer seeing the tiny-icons thing, but still seeing the pager issue, fully up to date.
