Originally, I had intended to only install -dbgsym and not -dbg,
but the -dbg package was suggested (not sure by which package?),
so tried to install both -- with the above results. Worked-around
the problem by a simple `sudo apt remove python-
with allowed the installation to proceed and complete without any
obvious problems.
