Bug Description
I listed this as kubuntu-meta, but I have no idea where the problem actually exists.
I have Kubuntu/Ubuntu installed on partitions on my second drive (hdb). I have two Linux partitions (ext3 and xfs) on hda, hda1 and hda2. I cannot mount either one. The error messages says that either the partition is already mounted or the mount point is busy. The "mount" command does not show that any hda partitions are mounted, and there's nothing wrong with the mount points (I've even tried creating several new mount points).
I can mount other hdb partitions without any problems. It only prevents me from mounting partitions on hda.

Are you still having this problem? I have partitions from hda and hdb mounted on my machine.
What was the command you were using to mount the partitions?
Could you please attatch the output of running "sudo fdisk -l" and the contents of your /etc/fstab
