File association with .tapn file extension

It would be nice if you had a .tapn file and you right clicked it --> open with tapaal.exe that it opened in tapaal. (This is for Windows)

This would be a nice feature. I actually checked in on Mac if I right click I can select TAPAAL from the list (not recommend application) though and it will open the file. It would be great to have TAPAAL automatically registered for opening all files with .tapn ending.

It works if the file is in the same directory as tapaal.exe. It probably searches from the root dir of tapaal.exe and is not given the full path.

I think Kenneth actually fixed this in this script:

But for the current release I used the old .exe file. I am however not sure if this creates automatically the associations on Windows?

For Windows, the changes for the exe does not affect this, however its required for supporting the feature. At some point I will test out adding file assosioation via choco install package. We cold maybe also add a button to add tapaal as file handler (via GUI).

I'm not sure how to add a filehandler for MacOS
